Park Güell Frequently Asked Questions
Short, practical answers about booking, vouchers and the day of your visit. For the essentials, such as entry times, re-entry and how long to stay, see the questions on our home page.
Booking and vouchers
Do I pay on this website?
No. Park Guell Tickets does not sell tickets or take payments. When you choose an option, you are sent to an external booking platform, where you see the final price, the terms and the payment page. Your contract is with that platform or the product supplier, not with this website.
Where do I find my voucher?
After booking, the platform sends a confirmation email with your voucher or a link to it. Keep it on your phone and check the date, time slot, entrance or meeting point and the name on the booking. If the email does not arrive, contact the support listed by the booking platform.
Who do I contact to change or cancel a booking?
Contact the support details shown in your booking confirmation. Changes, cancellations and refunds are handled by the platform or supplier where you paid, under the terms of your option. This website cannot access, change or refund bookings, because no bookings are made or stored here.
Should I buy tickets at the gate?
We do not recommend relying on the gate. Timed slots can sell out, and buying online before your visit lets you plan the day around a guaranteed slot. If you arrive without a ticket, check the official channels for current availability before you travel up the hill.
On the day
Do I need to print my ticket?
Most vouchers can be shown on a phone, but check the instructions in your confirmation, because requirements can depend on the option. Make sure the barcode or QR code loads without mobile data, for example by saving a screenshot or a PDF before you leave your accommodation.
Can I visit the free part of the park without a ticket?
Areas outside the Monumental Zone are generally open as an urban park, while the Monumental Zone with the main Gaudí features requires a timed ticket. Access arrangements can change, so check the official website for the current rules before relying on free areas.
What should I wear and bring?
Wear comfortable shoes with good grip, because paths include slopes, gravel and steps. Bring water, sun protection in warm months and a light layer for wind on the upper terraces. For an audio guide, bring headphones and a charged phone, ideally with a small power bank.
Tickets and options
Which option is best for a first visit?
If you like to understand what you see, a guided tour gives the most context in about 90 minutes. If you prefer your own pace, an entry ticket with an audio guide is flexible and usually simpler to schedule. If Sagrada Familia is also on your list, compare the combo formats.
Is Casa del Guarda the same as the Gaudí House Museum?
No. Casa del Guarda is one of the two pavilions at the main entrance and hosts an exhibition about the park. The Gaudí House Museum is the former home of Antoni Gaudí inside the park grounds and has its own ticket. The Gaudí Experience is a separate exhibition outside the park.
Are prices on this website updated automatically?
No. This is a static website and prices do not refresh by themselves. Where we show a price, it comes from a manual check of a specific option. Where we cannot confirm a current price, we show Check prices. The booking page always shows the current total.
