The self-guided combo
This format bundles two independent visits. You book a time slot for Sagrada Familia and another for Park Güell, and you get audio guides according to the option you select. Between the slots you are free: lunch, a rest at your hotel or another neighbourhood.
It suits visitors who like their own rhythm and want to spend longer where it matters to them. It also lets you choose the order: many people prefer Park Güell in the morning or late afternoon, when the terraces are cooler, and the basilica interior around the middle of the day.
Two things to check before paying: whether the option includes access to a Sagrada Familia tower, and the audio guide languages for both sites. If the description does not mention towers, assume they are not included.
The combined guided tour
A combined guided tour covers both landmarks with a live guide in one booking. Catalogue listings indicated a total length of roughly 4 to 4.5 hours, depending on the option. The guide links the two sites into one story of Gaudí’s work, which many visitors find more rewarding than two separate visits.
Check whether your option includes transport between the two sites or whether the group travels by public transport or on foot. Also check the meeting point on the voucher, the tour language for your slot and whether any tower access is part of it. The guided tour has a fixed schedule, so it suits you less if you want long photo stops.

Planning the day between two sites
Sagrada Familia and Park Güell are in different neighbourhoods, with separate entrances, security rules and visit lengths. Our editors suggest:
- Leave a generous buffer between slots. Allow time for the journey, a meal and the walk up to the park entrance. We do not quote a fixed transfer time because it depends on traffic, route and your pace.
- Check the two entrances. Each voucher shows its own entrance or meeting point.
- Respect both sets of rules. Sagrada Familia has its own dress and security rules, and Park Güell does not allow re-entry on the same ticket.
- Pace yourself. The park involves slopes and steps. If you visit it second, keep some energy for the climb.
